Went our second time a month ago and going again this father's day weekend 2025. Can't wait. Always have a great time and the people are always so welcoming.
We have been there 3x this year 2025. 1st time ever at a nudist resort. Going back on labor day weekend. Staff is friendly and helpful. Have met a lot of nice people and talking. Can't wait to get back there
Sun Aura is Chicago premier clothing optional campgrounds and it will not disappoint you. Great grounds, great pool and the dunes is were it all happens. One recommendation rent yourself a golf cart because the place is big;and there is nothing better than driving around on your golf cart naked.

Love this place! Great people great fun! Clothing optional, adults only, great staff, and the regular campers are friendly. If you want to party or relax, meet new ppl, eat drink and be merry... go try this place out! We went once and became members a year later!
I love searching roadside America for fun things to get a picture of. 10 family members in a big van and we get off at exit 230 off I-65 for a bathroom break. I pull up the app and see this lady's leg less than 3 miles away. I convince the family to go for a picture. My high-school teachers always told me to read all the directions on a test and it stuck with me. I'm just really bad at follow through as I read nothing about what we were to see. Ignored some private property signs as I wanted a picture. Pulled up to the front desk to go talk to them and as a golden retriever would do i tilted my head as if I heard a weird noise when a young topless lady walked past me. The couple at the front desk were super nice and explained it was a nudist colony kind of thing. Thanks for being cool and hope you got as good of a laugh as I got a story!
Nice and friendly staff. Always a good time has been had while staying here. Can't wait to come back again. Try more of the amenities that they have to offer there as well. Maybe next year.
We were here in August with a few other couples. We met some very great people. We had a great time and will be back next year.
